Letter: Unthinkable

The unthinkable happened in America on July 1. The corrupt, extremist Supreme Court just gave the power of a president to be king. Ironically, three days before the celebration of Independence Day, when we declared our freedom from being ruled by a king.

All we need now is for former President Donald Trump, who has already shown us his autocratic tendencies, to be reelected. We can say goodbye to our democracy.

Vote, because our democracy depends on it.
