In One Ear: Grand companions

Meet Henry, our latest foster dog from Angels For Sara Sanctuary. He joins Mr. Tucker, also from the sanctuary, who has been with us for five years.
Jacque Pressly runs the small nonprofit, and she rescues mostly local small senior dogs (under 26 pounds) — whose owners have died or gone into care — gives them medical and dental care, and finds them loving homes. The sanctuary offers both foster and foster-to-adopt options.
Senior dogs are grand companions. They’re already well-trained and are grateful and loving. Unfortunately, they are often overlooked when considering a pet because people don’t realize what they’re missing.
While she is most thankful for the help she has already received, “the only way we can continue doing this is with your donations and support,” Pressly wrote on the nonprofit’s Facebook page.
