IBIS Property Management LLC a wholly owned entity of IBIS Group LLC of Astoria, recently announced it has entered into a long-term lease with Oregon State University for a 6,000 square foot building OSU owns in Astoria. This waterfront property at the foot of 36th Street formerly housed the Oregon State University’s Seafood Laboratory, which in 1997 moved to new facilities in Astoria.

Dr. Michael Morrisey, director of the Seafood Lab, said the property has been without a tenant for several months, and renting it is positive for the Seafood Lab.

“The rents from this lease flow back to the Seafood Lab, assisting us in funding ongoing operations of the center,’ Morrisey said.

Since 1986, IBIS Group, LLC and IBIS companies have provided project management services to clients throughout the United States and internationally.

“This activity adds to our current leased property portfolio, and enables IBIS to continue its development plans for Uppertown,” said Floyd Holcom, IBIS senior director.
