Letter: Subscriber notices our more-readable type

What is the reason for a larger type size in The Astorian? I’ve noticed the dramatic change.
Possible reasons might be: Aging population of physical hard copy readers; less news, so bigger type takes up more space; new trend. In any case, I’d like to know the reason. Initially I thought I was reading the kids’ page!
I’ve been a subscriber for many years, living in Chicago and spending time in Seaside.
