SEASIDE – The Rt. Rev. Robert L. Ladehoff, bishop of Oregon, will visit Calvary Episcopal Church, 503 N. Holladay Drive, for the 10 a.m. Sunday service.

Bishop Ladehoff was consecrated as Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese of Oregon in 1985, and was installed as Diocesan Bishop in1986. He holds a Bachelor’s of Sacred Theology degree from General Theological Seminary in New York and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Virginia Theological Seminary. Prior to his election, he served several congregations in North Carolina as well as serving on numerous boards and committees on the local, regional, and national levels.

Bishop Ladehoff will retire in September, making this visit to Calvary his last official one prior to retirement. During his visit, he will preach and be the celebrant of Holy Communion. A coffee hour will follow the service.

Because of the Bishop’s service Sunday, there will not be the usual Saturday evening service Nov. 16. The public is welcome to attend all services at Calvary Church. For information, call 738-5773.
