TLC, a division of Fibre Federal Credit Union, is helping children save money and save homeless animals with its Cash Club Cares Program.
For every new member aged 18 or younger who signs up for a Cash Club or Student Savings account, TLC donates $5 to the Humane Society or animal shelter nearest the location where the account was opened, up to $5,000 total per year. Recently, TLC donated $573 to Clatsop Animal Assistance, which supports the Clatsop County Animal Shelter’s homeless animals.
Since the Cash Club Cares Program began in 2017, TLC has donated $38,321 to animal shelters in Clatsop, Lincoln, Tillamook, Columbia, and Cowlitz Counties, including $4,702 to Clatsop Animal Assistance.
