Fulio’s Pastaria gets new owner

Peter Roscoe, founder and owner of Fulio’s Pastaria, Tuscan Steakhouse & Delicatessen since the early 2000s, has sold the restaurant to his former manager Allan LaPlante. The transfer was completed Wednesday.
LaPlante is bringing in Sean Whittaker, a two-time winner of Iron Chef Goes Coastal cooking competition, as chef. Roscoe will help advise on day-to-day operations for a short period of time. Fulio’s is located at 1149 Commercial St.
