Egrane Brown is a broker with Duane Johnson Realty. We sat down with her at her office.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Nehalem.

Where did you go to school?

I went to Neahkahnie High School. Afterwards, it was Portland Community College and Southern Oregon University. I have a major in business.

Do you have family?

My husband, Mike, and I have been married since 1995. We have two daughters, 11 and 15 years old.

What did you want to be growing up?

I was always working in retail so I wanted to own my own clothing and fashion business. I guess I was a typical young girl.

How long have you worked at Duane Johnson Realty?

Going on three years.

What do you like best about selling real estate?

Meeting new people from everywhere, locally and from around the world. People are fascinating. Also, real estate is always changing.

What do you do in your spare time?

I enjoy cooking and gardening. My girls are big into sports, so we do a lot of outdoor family activities. We really enjoy white water rafting and just did some of that out in Idaho. It was beautiful.

Whats your biggest pet peeve?

I really dont have anything. I dont let things bother me most of the time.
