A Funeral Mass was held for Carl Chris C. Wick, 67, of Bend, formerly of Coos Bay, on Saturday, November 2nd, followed by committal at Ocean View Memory Gardens Cemetery in Coos Bay.

Chris, as he was known to many, was born on February 13, 1946, in Astoria, Oregon, to Melvin T. Wick and Margaret E. Skow. He passed away peacefully on October 28 in Bend.

Chris graduated from Astoria High School. He moved to Charleston, Oregon, in 1965 and worked as a Commercial Fisherman. He would also serve in the National Guard. Chriss kindness and sense of humor will be missed by many.

Chris is survived by a son; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sister, Kathleen Hoeger of Independence, Iowa; sister, Frances White, of Charleston, OR; sister, Bridget Sorensen, of North Plains, OR; and sister, Margaret Sitterson, of Palm Springs, CA.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Margaret (Skow) Wick; and brothers, Melvin J., Paul and Joe Wick.
