Bruce Charles Ketcheson, 56, of Cannon Beach, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Vancouver, Wash.

He was born June 26, 1952, in Dearborn, Mich., to Frances (McLean) and David Bruce Ketcheson. His mother survives, residing in Davis, Calif. His father preceded him in death.

From 1971 to 1974, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Ketcheson lived in the Clatsop County area from March to September this year and from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Thomas Ketcheson of Santa Fe, N.M.; a sister, Kathleen Doty of Davis; and three grandchildren, Saige, Kade and Elias Ketcheson of Cannon Beach.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Bruce Ketcheson, on Aug. 4, 2008.

A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center, 415 First St. in Seaside.

Interment will be at Oahu Cemetery in Hawaii.
