Surf camp rides the waves into Seaside

SEASIDE – The NorthWest Women’s Surf Camp (www.nwwomenssurfcamps.com) will hold their Second annual August Surfing Immersion Week Retreat on the North Oregon Coast from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday through Aug. 22, providing an opportunity for women of all ages to learn and expand their surfing experience.

One day camps include morning beach yoga, on-beach and in-water surfing instruction, a catered organic lunch with beverages, all surfing equipment and wet suit gear, a NWWSC T-shirt and a gift bag. The cost is $199 per participant.
Multiple day partial retreats vary in price based on the number of day camps attending and number of meals and nights lodging needed. Options such as massage and an evening out of “Small Plates with Wine and Dessert” with Chef Bob Neroni can be added. Lodging is $50 per night per person.
A full surfing immersion week retreat in Seaside’s Cove includes lodging, 5 days of surf camps, morning beach yoga, all meals, two hours of after surf massage, optional evening activities, all surf and wet suit equipment, a zippered NWWSC hooded sweatshirt, partners gift bag and more. The cost is $1,595.
