In One Ear: Professional dancers return
Published 4:00 pm Thursday, January 4, 2007
Over the winter break, the Ear has heard that the ASTORIA SCHOOL OF BALLET provided some of its beginning/intermediate students with two ballet master classes taught by former professional dancer RENEE MEIFFREN. Meiffren trained at the Rudra Bejart School in Lausanne, Switzerland, and danced professionally with Ballet Arizona and the State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara, Calif.
Dancers were also exposed to jazz dance with two classes taught by ASB alumnus KEESHA ROBERTS, who is now dancing with the ARC Company in Seattle.
