MANZANITA – The Little Apple, Inc. Fireworks stand is now open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday on Laneda Avenue in Manzanita. This year the stand will donate all profits to the nonprofit Rinehart Clinic located in Wheeler and to the Tillamook County Secret Angels for use in the service area covered by School District No. 56.
The Rinehart Clinic provides primary medical care for all of the community regardless of their ability to pay. Besides accepting multiple medical insurance plans and Medicare, the Rinehart Clinic also provides care to those without medical insurance or prescription coverage.
The Tillamook County Secret Angels provide services to people that otherwise fall between the cracks. The group works with individuals and families so that they will someday become self sufficient.
Along with selling fireworks that are legal in Oregon there will also be non-firework items such as glow sticks, hats, tablecloths, flags, decorative banners, and patriotic spinners.
