TV/Radio coverage: ABC will be televising its sixth Super Bowl. CBS Radio-Westwood One will be broadcasting its 16th consecutive Super Bowl, 29th overall. The game will be distributed internationally by the NFL and NFL International to 220 countries and territories in 28 languages.

Super Bowl XXXVI TV audience: Last year’s game was the fifth most-watched program in television history. The game between the St. Louis Rams and New England Patriots attracted 131.7 million Americans (almost one in every two citizens) for all or parts of the game to make it the fifth most-watched program in television history. The first four are Super Bowls (XXX, XXVIII, XXXII and XXVII). In fact, the 10 most-watched shows in TV history are Super Bowls.
