VERNONIA – The Vernonia Muzzleloaders invite you to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and head out to Vernonia to experience the life of the mountain man, pre-1840s from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 at Stony Point Road in Vernonia.
Come watch mountain men from all over the Pacific Northwest compete with traditional muzzleloader rifles, throw hawk and knife, and scad about in authentic period dress.
