GRAYS RIVER, Wash. – Hearty beef stew, delectable cheese bread, beverages and desserts – these would be enough to bring people from miles around to the Grays River Methodist Church social hall, on State Route 4 near Milepost 18 on the hill above Grays River Cafe. But that’s not all. Unique crafts, needlework, paintings, original clothing and home decorations, plus a second-hand shop and a bake sale – all from many talented valley women — will fill the church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at the Grays River Friendship Circle’s annual Lunch and Bazaar. This year, takeout meals will be available for the first time. The meal is by donation, and crafts and baked goods are reasonably priced. To call in orders the day of the event, call (360) 465-2391.
