Delores A. Nay

Delores A. Nay, 65, of Seaside, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 in Seaside.

Ms. Nay was born Oct. 28, 1940, in Circleville, Utah, to Lawrence C. and Mary D. (Linford) Nay.

She attended schools in Circlevile, Monroe, Sigard and Salina, Utah.

She married Lane Keisel Nov. 12, 1958 in Maryland. They divorced in 1974.

Family members said Ms. Nay loved Elvis Presley. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and singing karaoke with her sister. She was a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints and was a homemaker all of her life. She lived in Astoria for six years before moving to Seaside in 1999.

Ms. Nay is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Donna Keisel of Seaside and George Christian and Debbie Keisel of Powell, Wyo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Sue and Robert Park of Riverton, Utah; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, J.L. and LaRee Nay of Junction, Utah, Calvin D. and Ramona Nay of Coos Bay and Thomas Earl Sampson of Salina, Utah; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Annette and Bill Cates of Henderson, Nev., and Dorothy Jean and Ron Meek of Seaside; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Dorothy Mathaney of Ogden, Utah.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lance Calvin Keisel in 1959; and two sisters, Rhoene Lawrence in December 2004 and Sylvia Joy Salmi in July 2005.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Hughes-Ransom Mortuary, 220 N. Holladay Drive, Seaside.

A graveside service follows at 1:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Seaside.

Memorial contributions may be made to Epilepsy Foundation of Oregon, in care of Hughes-Ransom Cremation and Mortuaries.
