Ronald “Joey” Lemon, 54, of Warrenton, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005 in Seaside.

He was born Dec. 15, 1950 in Meadville, Pa., to David and Marjorie Lemon.
He was raised by his mother in Salem until he was 16 years old. Because of his disability, he was moved to a care facility in Salem.
In May 1989, Mr. Lemon joined a group home in Seaside provided by Community Access Services. In October 1990, he became affiliated with Coast Rehabilitation Services, where he worked as a paper shredder and sorter.

His hobbies included talking on the phone, listening to the Beatles and to country music, especially Garth Brooks. He loved watching movies involving American Indians, his favorite being “Dancing with Wolves.” His caregivers said that he had a complete Indian headdress that he would wear on occasion. They remember him as a very caring person and well liked by the Sunset House family, other group homes and work areas affiliated with Coast Rehabilitation Services.
Mr. Lemon is survived by two brothers, Stanley Lemon of Roseburg and Gene Lemon of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Sherry Lemon of Roseburg and Patricia Lemon of Pennsylvania; one niece, Brenda Lemon of Roseburg; and special friends within the Coast Rehabilitation Services “Sunset House” family.
A memorial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Coast Rehabilitation Services Sunset House, 89451 Highway 101, Warrenton.
Interment will be private.
