The BigFish Blues Band, located in the “Great Pacific Northwest,” Astoria, Ore., is basically a “Jump Blues” band with a little bit of a hard edge thereby adopting the phrase, “Power Blues.”

Though grounded in traditional “Chicago Style Blues” its influences are such bands as The Fabulous Thunderbirds, early Feetwood Mac, Cream, Delbert McClinton, Jimmie Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy and all the other legends that have influenced its sound.

Though basically democratic, the band is led by lead singer , harp player and guitarist, Patrick McGee, originally out of Raleigh, N.C., with a solid background in “Blues” and “Southern Rock” dating back to the late 60s.

The core of the band is anchored by:

Tom Schmidt at lead guitar. Much admired and sought after, Tom adds his premiere talents and playing style to make this band really stand out

Greg Alfaro, “The Drummer Of All Drummers.” This guy has “Rhythm Patterns” other drummers dream about.

Mark Badger at bass. Like the rest of us, this guy has been in the trenches for many years and is a welcomed anchor to the sound this band tries to prosper.
