The Clatsop County Historical Society hosts free plum pudding cooking demonstrations by local historian Rae Goforth at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 20 in the Flavel House Carriage House.

Goforth will show the secrets and tricks of the trade when it comes to making plum pudding, sharing her own recipe and offering samples fresh from the oven.

Admission is free but reservations are required – contact the historical society at 325-2203. All those attending will receive a discount coupon for gift items at the Carriage House gift shop good that day only.
