OSBAs Legislative Policy Committee consists of 19 representatives from 14 regions throughout the state. Committee members, who met April 25 to 26 in Eugene along with voting members of the OSBA Board of Directors, help set OSBAs legislative policies and priorities.
In even-numbered years, school board members statewide are asked to approve those legislative recommendations. The result forms the foundation of the organizations lobbying efforts on public education issues during legislative sessions.
