To commemorate the corporation’s 25th anniversary, Tongue Point Job Corps Center hosted MTC Works staff for lunch with keynote speakers that included MTC Regional Vice President Ellie Lopez.
MTC Works Director Julie Gassner said it’s “an honor” to work for a corporation that “promotes innovation, partnership and leadership in our local communities,” a sentiment echoed by Tongue Point Center Director Nancy Pyburn.
“MTC expects each of us to give back to our community,” Pyburn said. “They know the key to global success is local support. I am proud to feel that support here in Astoria.”
