Peer Amid Beads Opens Tillamook Franchise

Angie Woolfolk said she is glad to be back in Tillamook. In March, Woolfolk opened Peer Amid Beads, a retail bead supply and formal wear retail store in downtown Tillamook. Woolfolk, who grew up in Tillamook, recently moved back to manage the franchise store.

Peer Amid Beads includes two other stores, both located in Juneau, Alaska.

The shop features beads from all over the world; jade, amber, fresh water pearls, and silver and gold beads. Custom-made jewelry and jewelry repair is available.

Also featured are Northwest native artwork, gifts, and formal wear, including wedding gowns and tuxedo rentals.

The store is currently welcoming consignment artists.

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 9a.m. to 7p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4p.m. For more information call (503) 842-3237.
