Astoria Parks and Recreation will hold three Easter events, starting with Family Egg Dyeing at Port of Play from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Participants will need to bring their own eggs. The gym will be open for play, too. The cost is $4 per person.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday at Tapiola Park. Activities will take place at 11 a.m., followed by the egg hunt at noon. More than 5,000 eggs, candies and prizes will be hidden. This event is divided into age groups to allow children of the same age to hunt together. There is no cost for this event.
A Nighttime Easter Egg Hunt will also be held at dusk Saturday at Tapiola Park. The cost is $4. Each participant will receive a lighted device to hunt the elusive eggs in the dark.
