Bachelor needs love in Astoria

They just got the green light to produce a pilot for a NEW DATING REALITY SHOW and they are LOOKING FOR A BACHELOR for it to be centered around, REGINA WILLKIE, marketing manager of the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce, told the Ear.

The basic idea is that they have a group of women who are tired of dating city guys and they are taking them to a small town to find a real man, she explained. The town, of course, could be Astoria.

Because Astoria was voted in the Top 10 Cool Small Towns in the U.S., I was able to come across it during my research, said THI NGUYEN, segment producer of Endemol/Lock & Key Productions. Were currently searching for a bachelor who is happy living in his small town but is missing that one piece a lady to share his life with. We are casting for a 25- to 40-year-old male bachelor who is attractive, outgoing, athletic, career oriented and who has a community behind him.

Apparently the docu-series is for a major network, and the week-long filming is set to start in mid-October.

Are you the right guy for the job? Youd better get busy and email your name, age, occupation, contact numbers, email address, two or more recent photos of yourself and a brief bio (about you and what you are looking for in a mate) to tnguyen@51minds.com

If we can find the right fit for them in a bachelor, Regina hopes, well have them hooked.
