Wayne and Lynn Poole of Warrenton announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lynn Poole of Salem, to Christopher Michael Parrish of Bend. He is the son of Mike Parrish and Kathy Bode of Warrenton.

The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Warrenton High School and a 2012 graduate of Corban University, where she received a bachelors degree in elementary education with a minor in biblical studies. She is a student.

The prospective groom graduated from Warrenton High School in 2007, and from Central Oregon Community College in 2013, where he received a dual degree in fire science/paramedic. He is a Deschutes National Forest firefighter.

A June 17 wedding is planned at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center.
