Basketball: Kelly first team All-State

The Knappa boys basketball team finished third in last months state tournament, and for their efforts, the Loggers had three players selected to the Class 2A all-state team.

The Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors went to state champion Western Mennonite senior Pierre Zook and coach Gary Hull.

Zook was a unanimous first-team selection, along with Knappa junior Dalton Kelly.

Central Linn landed two players on the first team senior Blake Nightengale and junior Zach Holloway.

The Loggers placed two players on the second team seniors Dillion Moreland and Trevor Oja.
