Charlene Marie Lahaie

Charlene Marie Lahaie, 53, of Warrenton, died on Oct. 1, 2011 in Astoria.

Charlene was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on August 27, 1958 the daughter of Paul James and Aleen Starr Lahaie. Raised in Coeur d’Alene, she was a graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School and the Coeur d’Alene Beauty School. She moved to Clatsop County in 1981 and has worked as a hairdresser in Seaside, Astoria and most recently at Shear Heaven in Warrenton.

Her hobbies and interests included cleaning, organizing, being around all of her clients and co-workers, and spending time with her grandchildren and other family members.

Charlene is survived by: significant other: Chuck Kobryzcki, Warrenton; daughter: Jessica Lahaie, Warrenton; son-in-law: Jeff Hoagland, Warrenton; grandsons: Ryan and Zachary Hoagland, Warrenton; brother and sister-in-law: Albert and Alice Lahaie, Orfino, ID; sister and brother-in-law: Cheri and Steve Garrett, LaCrosse, Wash.; sister: Paula McCulley, Portland; sister and brother-in-law: Sue and Tom Truesdell, Warrenton; sister-in-law: Laura Lahaie, LaCrosse; brother-in-law and his wife: Richard and Andi Garcia, Hammond; sister-in-law: Marie Brim, Astoria; sister-in-law: Vienna Garcia, Hammond; sister-in-law: Michelle and Jim Thomas, Sherwood; Stepson: Todd Kobryzcki, Warrenton; Stepson and family: Ross, Jamie, Gabby Kobryzcki, Vancouver, Wash.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by: brother, Ron Lahaie; brother-in-law: Dennis Garcia and sister-in-law: Sharon Garcia.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Columbia Hospice, 486 12th Street, Astoria, Ore., 97103.

Ocean View Cremation and Burial Service of Astoria are in charge of the arrangements.
