SEASIDE A blown fuse caused a power outage for about 3,200 Pacific Power customers in Seaside and 1,100 from north of town and around Gearhart this morning.

The outage occurred at 9 a.m. and lasted about an hour. Tom Gaunt, Pacific Power spokesman, said the cause of the blown fuse wasnt known.
