ASTORIA – The Wet Dog Café & Astoria Brewing Co. has bought the building that had housed Andrew & Steve’s Café from 1916 to 2010.

Wet Dog co-owner Karen Huber said, “We have higher demand than what we can produce.” She said that has been the case particularly during the summers, when business is booming in the restaurant. Allen said the plan is to put a 15- or 20-barrel fermenter and retail space in the building at 1196 Marine Drive.

“We are super excited; we are growing!” Allen said at the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce’s monthly breakfast in November.
