SEASIDE — About 300 people watched as three local young women took home Miss Clatsop County Scholarship Program pageant titles Feb. 22 at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center, advancing them to the state competition in June.

Milly McCalmon, 18, of Clatskanie, named Miss Clatsop County, also took home the award in evening wear, as well as being named Miss Congeniality. She walked away with $1,900 in scholarships, including a $200 award for one of the Four Points of the Crown. She previously held the Miss North Coast’s Teen title in 2023.

Aliciyah Miguel Cloninger, 18, who attends St. Helens High School, won the Miss Clatsop County’s Teen title. She will receive $600 in scholarships after winning the Teen Talent award. Previously, she was Miss Clatsop County’s Teen 2022.

Bridget Allen, 16, of Tillamook, was named Miss North Coast’s Teen. She also won the Teen Interview Competition, as well as receiving the Teen Chef John Newman’s Memorial Public Speaking Community Service Award, the Teen Success and Service awards, $1,100 in scholarships and the People’s Choice Award at the Miss Clatsop Social Impact Showcase the night before.

Daisy McCalmon, 14, of Clatskanie, was the runner-up in the Teen division, and also won the Teen Fitness Award, earning $350 in scholarships.

Additional scholarships were given to Lizzi Rocha, 19, of Warrenton, who received both the Miss Chef John Newman’s Memorial Public Speaking Community Service Award and the Miss Interview Award, for a total of $300.

Josie Morinville, of Astoria, won the Miss Talent Scholarship, and scholarships worth $200. Reagan Hartnett, 15, won two of the Four Points of the Crown Scholarship, for a total of $500 in scholarships.

In all, $5,350 in scholarships were awarded, including all nonfinalists being given a $100 scholarship.
