Manzanita Group Sets Pace – The Manzanita Pace Setters is a walk/jog/run club that meets at 7:30 a.m. Saturdays rain, wind or shine in the parking lot behind Spa Manzanita, located at 144 Laneda Ave. To participate, bring one can of food for the North County Food Bank. The self-paced, approximately one-hour course starts and ends at the parking lot, with a new route each week. All active club members will receive 10 percent off massages at the spa. French Conversation Group Convenes – A French conversation group will meet from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the North County Recreational District, 36155 Ninth St. in Nehalem. This is a conversation group, not a French class. French will be spoken exclusively the entire two hours. A native French speaker will be present to gently guide discussion. Senior Meals Set – The Warrenton Senior Lunch Program provides a chance to meet new friends and get reacquainted with old friends. Lunch is served at noon Mondays and Thursdays at the Warrenton Community Center, located at 170 S.W. Third St. The cost is $4. DBSA Meeting Set – The local chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance will host a confidential, peer-led self-help support group meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Columbia Conference Room at Columbia Memorial Hospital. The group is open to anyone who is diagnosed with a mood disorder, has a family member or friend who is diagnosed or who thinks they might have depression or bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression). AHS Class of 1990 Reunion Set – The Astoria High School Class of 1990 is celebrating a 20-year reunion the weekend of July 9 and 10, and invites all former and current faculty from AHS, as well as all former classmates from any AHS grade, to join a no-host get-together from 7 to 10 p.m. July 9 at Pier 11 Steakhouse, 77 11th St. On July 10, there will be a potluck picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tapiola Park; the Saturday evening celebration will be held at Clemente’s Restaurant, 1198 Commercial St., and costs $40 per person at the door.
