Letter: Balanced approach

In response to Matt Janes’ letter, “Something’s weird” in the Aug. 6 edition:

1. Vice President Kamala Harris was not put in charge of fixing the border issue. She was tasked with working with Central American countries to get their assistance in stopping the flow of immigrants.

2. Vice President Harris was not a leader in raising funds for the George Floyd rioters. She assisted those who could not afford a defense, a basic fundamental in our justice system.

I encourage a more balanced approach in your letters. Perhaps you could research any positive agendas or results from the present conservative party, and present them rather than fault find or finger point.
