Lutheran Church marks Pentecost

The Festival of Pentecost will be celebrated on Sunday at First Lutheran Church, 725 33rd St. Two services of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8:30 and 11 a.m. All are welcome and are encouraged to wear red clothing, the liturgical color for the day.

The celebration will include special music, a children’s message and a sermon by the new pastor, the Rev. Ron McCallum. There will be a hospitality coffee hour between the services.

Sunday school for all ages of children starts at 9:45 a.m.; an adult class begins at 10 a.m.
