Regina and Bob Willkie, Skip Hauke, Mac Burns, Rosemary Baker-Monaghan (for the use of the Liberty Theater), Sandi Preston (for opening her home to all the fans), the guys at Oxygen Productions (for the documentary) and all of the volunteers deserve credit for providing an incredible and unforgettable weekend full of memories for the fans of this beloved film (“Goonies success,”?The Daily Astorian, June 14).

Regina Willkie, in particular, along with the others involved, worked tirelessly to make this event happen. She truly emulates the vision and mission that the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce strives for, and has undoubtedly provided a meaningful economic impact to the business owners and residents of Astoria and Clatsop County as a result of this memorable event.
