Knutsen’s Esnard earns insurance license

Knutsen Insurance recently announced that Sari Esnard earned her property and casualty license in mid-February, and is now operating as an agent for Knutsen Insurance’s Astoria office. She started with the company in September 2009.

Esnard graduated from Astoria High School in 1985 and attended Clatsop Community College. She returned to the area five years ago. While living in metro areas Esnard worked in sales and customer service positions.

“I pursued the insurance industry because I felt it would be a great opportunity for a career I could build upon, not just a job,” Esnard said.

Esnard also noted that being part of the community for a long time will be helpful.

“I know so many people personally,” she said.

A personal connection to the owners of the company was also the major reason for her choice of Knutsen as the place to launch her new career.

“I’ve known Jeff [Canessa], Scott [Seppa] and Bob [Knutsen] for years, and I don’t have that relationship with other insurance agencies,” Esnard said.

With her newly attained license, Esnard will now be able to make recommendations and suggestions for personal, home, auto, water craft and other property and casualty insurances.
