Brian Petersen, secretary/treasurer of Advancing Clatsop Teens in Vocational Education sent in an announcement: “The Lower Columbia Classic Car Club recently made a $300 donation toward the Astoria High School Drag Racing Club. They have helped support the high school club, and are among ACTIVE’s many great sponsors.”

Petersen said the Drag Race Club is moving into its third year of racing, and they will have three cars running in the High School Class at Woodburn Drag Strip, starting in April.
