The Clatsop Working Watersheds Cooperative, in collaboration with the Clatsop chapter of Oregon Women in Timber, will host the third annual Natural Resources Dinner, Awards and Auction on Jan. 16 at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds.

There are both silent and live auctions, the latter hosted by former state Sen. Betsy Johnson. The doors open at 4 p.m.; the dinner and awards are at 5 p.m.

The event honors the contributions of members of farming, fishing and timber communities, while raising funds for local youth pursuing a natural resources or technical education. The 2024 event raised $155,000.
