Weddings: Bish – Heavenrich

Breanne Bish of Springfield, daughter of Steve and Diane Bish of Milwaukie, exchanged wedding vows with Otis Heavenrich, also of Springfield, at 3 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, in an outdoor ceremony at the Astoria Yacht Club. The groom is the son of Ned and Lulu Heavenrich of Brownsmead.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Debra Twombly performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a strapless white gown and her attendants wore sleeveless yellow dresses when they walked down the aisle as the sister of the bride, Maranda Bish, sang “Yellow,” accompanied by Brownsmead Flats. The couple exchanged vows by singing a personalized version of “You’re All I Need to Get By.”
Maid of honor was Maranda Bish of Portland. Flower girl was Sahalie Heavenrich of Springfield, daughter of the couple. Flower girl attendant was Ashley Johnson of West Richland, Wash., cousin of the bride.

Best woman was Eliza Heavenrich of Eugene, sister of the groom. Usher was Taylor Bellingham of Milwaukie, brother of the bride.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Astoria High School and a 2005 graduate of Oregon State University, where she is a graduate student in Early Intervention.
The groom graduated from Knappa High School in 1998, and in 2003 from Oregon State University, where he is a graduate student in speech therapy.
A reception was held at the Astoria Yacht Club.
The couple honeymooned in The Penthouse overlooking the Columbia River, and live in Springfield.
