Weddings: Mespelt – Hecox

Stephanie Mespelt of Warrenton, daughter of Craig Mespelt of Seaside and Carina and Mike McGuire of Lauderhill, Fla., exchanged wedding vows with Andy Hecox, also of Warrenton, at 3 p.m. Aug. 1 on the beach off Second Avenue in Cannon Beach. The groom is the son of Theresa and Tom Hecox of Seaside.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father. The Rev. Barbara Beach performed the ceremony.
The bride wore an ivory charmeuse V-neck halter with ruched surplice bodice and beaded embroidered dropped waist. The gown also featured a godet chapel train adorned with beaded embroidered appliques.
Matron of honor was Aimee Morrisey of Seaside. Bridesmaids were Annabelle Presa and Precy Cabanatan of Newark, Calif., and Jaime Oxley, Becky Seybold and Angela Fairless, all of Seaside. Flower girls were Marley Hecox of Warrenton and Zhenee Presa of Newark.

Best man’s was Ric Foley of Michigan. Groomsmen were Eric Saucedo and Curt Fairless of Seaside, TJ Hecox of Jewell, Brent Bowman of Gearhart and Jason Hussa of Warrenton. Ring bearer was Ruben Saucedo of Seaside.
The bride graduated from Seaside High School in 2002 and Springfield College of Beauty in 2006. She is a self-employed hair stylist.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Seaside High School. He is a room attendant at the Shilo Inn in Seaside.
A reception was held at the bride’s father’s house on U.S. Highway 26.
The couple reside in Warrenton.
