People interested in learning more about leadership will gather in Seaside May 8 for an event called the “Maximum Impact Simulcast” that will feature speakers such as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and golfing great Jack Nicklaus.

The Maximum Impact seminar will be simulcast live from a location in Georgia. Ten speakers will offer leadership training in the one-day workshop that will reach viewers at about 500 host sites nationwide. The event is being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Locally, a simulcast viewing event will be held in Seaside at the North Coast Family Fellowship.

“The event provides extremely valuable leadership insights from world-class communicators,” said David Hoyt, vice- president of Giant Impact, the leadership-training firm that created the Maximum Impact seminar series. “It’s a rare opportunity to hear these experts in your own community.”

The 2009 event will address a variety of leadership topics including how to embrace change, keys to building strong teams, and how to overcome personal and professional adversity.

The Maximum Impact seminar series began nine years ago as a single half day event and has grown to encompass a broad audience via the Internet.

For tickets, contact North Coast Family Fellowship, 2245 N. Wahanna Rd. (503) 738-7453. Tickets are $59 if purchased by by April 8, or $69 after that date.
