Letter: Very clear

It is very clear we have differences of opinions, and differences of beliefs, with different aspirations and goals. Lest we forget, that applies to us all. We do, however, agree on many things, such as personal freedoms and desire to live comfortably without persecutions for those beliefs.

We may feel strongly about certain elements of our desires, while they are seen as indifferent to others. Perhaps we could focus more on the more important parts, and focus on the big picture.
Unfortunately, money runs politics now more than ever. Calling corporations “people” is an affront to our individual worth and standing, in my opinion. Somehow we need to cut the money supply to elections and shorten the duration of the campaign spent raising money. Congress spends more time campaigning than working in the House.
We have an election coming up real soon. In that election, there are distinct differences, which I will not name. They are for each person to look at and decide which to choose. I only ask you to choose wisely, and don’t let the less important parts overshadow the main differences. Most of the smaller parts are not as important as preserving what this country initiated in 1776.

I believe in Jesus Christ. I will not push that belief on anyone, but would very much for all to be blessed as I have been through my faith.
