Letter: More egregious

The criticism of vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s 24 years of military service is laughable when presidential candidate Donald J. Trump avoided that service for bone spurs, as claimed by the family podiatrist.

What’s exceedingly more egregious is his blatant defiling of a national cemetery by ignoring a clear ban on political photography in a sacred place. This ban has never, ever been challenged or breached out of clear respect for the heroes interred there. That disrespect for political gain and a cheap photo op is unconscionable.
