Archbishop Alexander K. Sample

St. Mary, Star of the Sea Parish is observing its 150 years of serving the Astoria and Warrenton-Hammond areas, from 1874 to 2024, starting with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Alexander K. Sample at 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at the church on Grand Avenue.

The service is followed by a social time in the school auditorium, and a dinner at 5:30 p.m. in the gymnasium, catered by Fulio’s. The deadline to order is Friday. To reserve a spot, call 503-325-3671 or email office@stmaryastoria.com.
