Harrison and Lisa Forrester

Lisa Kahn, daughter of Robert and Cindy Kahn of Santa Fe, New Mexico, exchanged wedding vows with Harrison Forrester, son of Steve Forrester and Brenda Penner of Astoria, on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, in a meadow at Benton Hot Springs, California, near Yosemite National Park, where the couple works.

The bride is a graduate of Colorado College. She is a backcountry ranger at Yosemite.

The groom is a graduate of Astoria High School and Humboldt State University. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Nevada in Reno. He is a hydrologist at Yosemite and a director of the EO Media Group.

The couple’s honeymoon was a four-day backpacking trip over Harrison and Forester passes in the southern Sierra Mountains.
