WorkSource Oregon and the Oregon Department of Revenue are hosting six events statewide where people can receive free assistance filing their state and federal taxes.

“We know that filing your taxes can be a scary and confusing process,” said David Gerstenfeld, the Department of Revenue director. “We are excited to partner with WorkSource Oregon to provide in person help to make it easier for Oregonians to file their taxes for free, check if they are eligible for refundable tax credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit or Oregon Kids Credit and claim their share of the kicker.”

Each event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at WorkSource Oregon locations, where Oregonians can go to find job and training opportunities.

The full schedule includes events at the following locations:

When: Feb. 18
