In One Ear: Snake yoga

Goat yoga started in Oregon, and caught on fast. Now there’s HISS the Reptile Shop, in Portland, “Where Reptiles Roam, Plants Bloom, and Crystals Sparkle” and … snake yoga classes are offered. 

“… Snake yoga is for anyone, of all ages, and for any experience level,” shop owner Dru Morales told Here is Oregon. And, Katy Vanek, snake yoga instructor added, “snake yoga is “a really cool way to … get people to connect to these animals.”

“People can understand why you’d want to do yoga with kittens and puppies and goats,” Vanek noted, “because there’s that little, like, you know, essence of cuddling and fun, and it’s lovable. And people don’t always think of cuddling snakes.”
