Letter: Brave and hardy crews much appreciated

I want to recognize local heroes from the Knappa Fire Department and Clatsop County Road Crew from Knappa and Pacific Power. Monday night in the middle of the storm, I was trying to get home and a huge spruce tree had fallen and blocked the road. It was about 8:30 at night.

The crews responded within a short period of time. They risk their lives and safety responding in the middle of storms, and their efforts are greatly appreciated.
