It appears some big eastern law firms have copped-out to what could be called threats made by President Donald Trump and his ilk. Also, it seems those big law firms are offering President Trump free legal services, instead of cash that looks kinda like ransom.

You think those law firms maybe got “an offer they couldn’t refuse?” Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro would likely approve the smooth execution of this deal in broad daylight and TV camera floods.

But hey! These law firms have the time and resources to sue President Trump for coercion, libel, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO), or who knows what else? (With felons there is often something else.)

It would be easy to see any effort at all by the cop-out law firms would do double-duty as valuable image repair as well as the “right thing.” Those law firms could even take the suit costs to their insurance carrier, claiming a spine installation.
