In One Ear: Anything for a cookie

Astoria Dispatch has been helping dogs find their forever homes by posting them on their Fosters of APD Dispatch Facebook page. Here’s a recent handsome candidate:
“Meet Shadow, a 2-year-old Catahoula leopard dog/pitbull. Shadow did not have the greatest start to his life. He was found underweight and tied up to a footbridge trail off Highway 6.”
Before moving to the Clatsop Animal Shelter, he was at the Tillamook K9 Rescue for the last year, where “he loves to be loved, and give kisses in return.”
“Shadow is such a sweet dog, but can be dog reactive. This is something both shelters are working on with him. We know whoever decides to add Shadow to their pack is going to be getting an amazing dog.”
Shadow knows some tricks, and “loves to learn, and will do anything for a cookie. He is very smart, and will anticipate what you want him to do just to try to get treats. On walks, he loves rolling over and rubbing on the grass. We know his perfect person is out there …”
To set up a meet and greet with Shadow, call the Clatsop County Animal Shelter at 503-861-7387.
